Overview

An 8-hour classroom refresher for practitioners who completed the 16-hour PHTLS provider course, or an equivalent such as ITLS, within the past four years. It reviews current PHTLS assessment and management through skills and scenarios, and renews the provider card for another four years.

What You Will Learn

  • Refresh the PHTLS primary survey and trauma assessment sequence
  • Practice hemorrhage control, airway and shock management skills
  • Apply current PHTLS guidance in scenario-based patient care

  • Current PHTLS provider card, or an equivalent such as ITLS, issued within the past 4 years

Questions About This Course

The refresher needs a PHTLS or equivalent provider course completed within the past four years. Outside that window, take the full 16-hour PHTLS provider course.

Open a course, pick a session and select Reserve Seat, then pay on our secure payment page by card or bank account (ACH). Paying online adds a processing fee, and you see the exact total before you pay. Your seat is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through. To pay by card over the phone or an agency purchase order instead, reserve your seat, then contact us. If no date works for you, request one.

Cancellation and reschedule terms depend on the course and are shown before you reserve. Contact us as early as you can and we will help you move to another date when seats are open.
