CAPCE Accredited
A Trusted CE Provider
Code Blue Training is an accredited continuing education provider through the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE).
The Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) is the recognized accrediting body for EMS continuing education in the United States. CAPCE-approved courses are accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and the majority of state EMS offices for recertification.
What CAPCE Approval Means
Every course on Code Blue Training has been reviewed and approved by CAPCE. That means the content meets the rigorous standards set by the accreditation body for clinical accuracy, instructional design, and educational value.
When you complete a course on our platform, you receive a certificate that lists the CAPCE activity ID, hours awarded, credit type, provider information, and a unique verification code. These certificates are accepted as valid proof of CE for NREMT recertification and most state EMS recertification programs.
Course Formats
Code Blue Training offers two CAPCE-approved formats:
- F3 — Distributive / On Demand: Self-paced video, text, and quiz-based courses you can complete on your schedule.
- F5 — Virtual Instructor-Led Training: Live webinars with attendance verification and interactive components.
Verifying Your Certificates
Every certificate issued by Code Blue Training includes a verification code. Employers, state agencies, and accreditation reviewers can enter that code on our verification page to confirm the certificate is authentic and unaltered. The verification page shows the student name, course title, completion date, and credit hours awarded.
NREMT Recertification
CAPCE-approved hours from Code Blue Training count toward the National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requirements for NREMT recertification. Your credit log automatically categorizes hours by credit type so you can see exactly where you stand against your recertification cycle.
State Acceptance
Most U.S. states accept CAPCE-approved hours for state EMS recertification. Some states have additional requirements beyond CAPCE — check with your state EMS office to confirm what is required for your specific certification level.
